The History of Politis, goes back to the post-war years in 1946, when Alexander Politis started selling potatoes in Lemonadika area Athens. For many years he travelled all over Greece buying potatoes directly from the farmers and selling in his own stand in Rentis Market. He positioned with his own stand in Athens Market at 1952 and worked with honesty and passion for decades. The last 20 years his 3 sons, Nikos, Yiannis and Damianos lead the business and expand to new markets.
Our mission is to supply top-quality fresh fruits and vegetables and ensure the health of the consumers, through a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy. Headquartered in the Central Market of Athens I25-27-31-33-35, we manage the entire cycle from the the seed up to the storage and handling of the finished product, we control crops in Achaia, Viotia and Nevrokopi and packing stations in Attica, Korinthia, Achaia and Nevrokopi. We. maintain partnerships with major producers and exporters in Cyprus, France, Spain, Holland, Egypt, Argentina, India and China for imports of top quality products.
